and now for something completely different...

L'chaim! To life!

I spent the last two days cleaning house and studio so neglected over the past two and a half weeks, reconnecting with the daily rituals of the living, picking up the strands of art and business, wandering the yard.

Would you believe I am still picking up pecans?

Next week my house will be filled with life. All four g'kids are coming for 3 or 4 days and we will be crafty and cook and play and laugh.

I can't wait.

  1. FLOWERS? Sigh. We have snow - but I know you're tired of hearing about that :)

Next week will be an extra special time because of all you've gone through. Enjoy!

  3. Your flowers are such hope in bloom. How perfectly perfect. Don't forget we can still work a deal for pecans and pralines.....
And what a blessing for you and your grandchildren....being together. The small wonders of life are there in spite of what has happened and you my friend are blessed because you see that. The Olde Bagg and one of your biggest fans strong woman, Linda

  4. L'chaim indeed! Glad you're easing back into your rhythms. That's a good thing!!

Love the pansies. According to my teachers of plant medicine, pansies bring "heart's ease" which is exactly what you need right now.

Onwards and upwards ... gently, gently.

  8. I'm so excited for you and for them. And rhythms, in this time of hibernation, should be slow but steady.

  10. How cool that the grandkids are coming! That will be a fresh breath of air. I love working at the school with the kids it's so opposite of dealing with losing a loved one. Enjoy the energy!
