I
know y'all have been just waiting with baited breath to get the last update
on my wound.
Six
weeks to the day after the incident, what was left of the big black
thick gnarly scab over the entry point came off.
It
was still a little moist there so a normal scab formed and
it came off exactly 2 weeks later.
About a week after that it looked even better.
So, 9 weeks from injury to scar though it may take another six months or so for all the redness to away.

It does look like the foot of a chicken, but I think it will fade away and hardly be noticed in time.
ReplyDeleteOh good lord, Ellen. I thought it had opened back up. Definitely a chicken attack.
ReplyDeleteSeriously. Chicken foot. You should get a tattoo around it. A chicken tattoo.
ReplyDeleteIt still gives me the willies.
ReplyDeleteI think you should tattoo a circle around it so you'll have a peace sign!
ReplyDeleteChicken peace sign tattoo - yes!!
ReplyDeleteHa!
DeleteI just know that there is a chicken somewhere, saying, I will always be with you, Ellen.
ReplyDeleteWow!! Spiders give me the creeps and that really proves my point! I hate it when people say they are harmless! How do you know which one is poisonous and which not?? I hope this goes away really really fast!!
ReplyDeleteAfter your reya-reiki treatment I had to come looking for this. I had missed out seeing it before! Definitely a peace sign.
