I think it's finished. It is, it's finished, I'm not doing anything else to it. I made two minor adjustments today, one to the coral on the top, removing a small piece to create a little negative space and changed the paint on the purple coral of the inlay from gray to white to match the other two.

I like the additional coral piece inside. Quite a journey to get to this point. Well done!
ReplyDeleteholy cow! THAT was worth the wait and the fuss that you went to. The most gorgeous thing I have ever seen in waterworld.
ReplyDeleteSo dang pretty! I love the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, yes, YES! It screams Cozumel to me. And you know that nothing could please me more. Ellen, you are amazing.
ReplyDeleteWell heck, as usual you know best. I was all prepared to be polite just KNOWING that I would prefer the other version. Nope, this is amazing. Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful. Really lovely in every way.
ReplyDeleteI love following your process, both the technical work and design decisions. The result is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing this little treasure cabinet! I have followed along and have been intrigued every step of the way and I think the end result justifies all the effort. Well done!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful! I love the little nuggets of coral hidden inside, like a surprise.
ReplyDeleteWow! it is beautiful! So intricate, yet simple. I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo unique and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo great to see this! I really like the inside surprise and the contrast between the white coral on top and the ocean colours on the box outside is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteJust genius to make use of rbg -- red, green, and blue -- on the outside. It's perfect. I knew the end product was going to be good, but I didn't expect it to be perfect in every way -- which it is.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I didn't even see the RBG until you pointed it out.
DeleteIt is stunning—it’s like a secret garden.
ReplyDeleteLooks terrific. Well done, Ellen!

ReplyDeleteOh wow... phenomenally beautiful! Will you keep it or sell it? After all of your work on it I would hope you'd keep it. It's just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt's headed to Kittrell/Riffkind Glass Gallery in Dallas for their Anniversary show in October.
