Their work is very interesting. I really connect with Richard's work, both the woven and geologic pieces. Your blog is always such a fascinating place to visit.
Good luck with your work in the city.Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10114884092474969555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-3376178964799540162013-12-13T06:48:41.639-06:002013-12-13T06:48:41.639-06:00My sweet goodness, I really want to touch it... th...My sweet goodness, I really want to touch it... the colors and texture really want to be touched. How blessed you are to live in an area with so many amazing artists.
I came visiting hoping to see the quilt that you and your granddaughter made. I do hope that you will post photos of it. It sounded like so much fun, designing and making a quilt together. Grandchildren are such a glorious and enriching part of live :)
Keep Smiling,
Your blogging sister, Connie :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-65005314990323366002013-12-11T19:53:29.047-06:002013-12-11T19:53:29.047-06:00I love Kari's abstract work. Houston is rich with glass artists, or at least they come through there to do workshops.Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15281288495129054688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-71790080866803454822013-12-11T15:51:45.482-06:002013-12-11T15:51:45.482-06:00Double wow. It involved a couple of fifty dollar stops at the stained glass store to get them through. I was amazed at the number of steps involved in the little pieces they made. Sadly, the cat wended across a dresser top and broke a plate Emily made.
It is another highly skilled art form. I enjoyed looking at the work you highlighted.Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834682329952369721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-61984805741226816982013-12-11T11:20:47.680-06:002013-12-11T11:20:47.680-06:00Thanks for sharing this beautiful work. Thanks for sharing this beautiful work.Rosaria Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03133147851332084180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-92226180140665722022013-12-11T10:35:09.721-06:002013-12-11T10:35:09.721-06:00beautiful works by both! gorgeous colors and textu...beautiful works by both! gorgeous colors and textures. makes me want to feel them.TexWisGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13641962051044162710noreply@blogger.com
