it's not midnight yet

We drove to Corpus Christie on Thursday for the opening member preview of the Target Texas: Contemporary Studio Glass invitational exhibit at the Art Museum of South Texas and the meet and greet the artists while they talk about their work on Friday.

I was having so much fun that I completely forgot it was Friday and missed a great opportunity for a selfie at the show.

So here's my 'oh shit I forgot it was Friday, hurry up and take a picture because it's already 9:30 PM' selfie.

I did move to a different room cause I figure everyone's tired of seeing my workroom in the background.

I have a lot of pictures of the work at the show and none of anybody as I forgot to take my camera Thursday night and just ran around getting pictures of the work before everyone got there today. Had I been thinking, I would have gotten pictures of the artists that made the trip by their work.

Had I been thinking I would have taken my selfie by my work.

Oh well.

I'll do a post on the show, just not now.

  1. I've heard Corpus Christi is beautiful. Just as you are my dear. :)

  2. Yes, definitely do a post on the show!

My mom has a lamp kind of like that one behind you -- a two-level glass thing with roses painted on the shades. I hate it, frankly, but yours is nicer.

  3. Love your selfies including in your work room. The variety is nice, though.

    Your hair looks fabulous!

  5. Pics of the work and the artists would have been precious, but I'm sure we'll enjoy the pictures of the work by itself, too. I know I will.

Oh, and your "oh shit!" selfie is awesome. ;-)

  6. Sounds like a typical day to me. Running around and forgetting stuff.

  7. You get more done in a day than I get done some weeks:)

  8. Love the selfie! I should do a weekly selfie - instead of the current several times a day ones that I do now :)

I opened my big mouth, now it's your turn.
