Yes, the birds eat the berries, mockingbirds especially, they just haven't got around to them yet. I transplanted this one from the city house in the middle of the summer of 2014. It's doing OK but not thriving yet. It used to be at least twice the size it is now. ellen abbotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535475792150335186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-35915178871478913992016-09-10T08:30:16.008-05:002016-09-10T08:30:16.008-05:00Shark bite.Shark bite.donna bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507579686738843451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-11344982294681567882016-09-10T08:22:12.999-05:002016-09-10T08:22:12.999-05:00I look at the would and wonder what order the doct...I look at the would and wonder what order the doctor stitched it together in. At least, there were reports coming out of Brazoria and Wharton counties of 1-2". The flowers are looking good -- I do like the zinnias. I found beauty berries galore this past weekend. If I had a yard, that's one of the things I would plant. Do the birds eat them? I didn't find any that had been nibbled, but perhaps there's so much food right now, they don't need them. Or, it could be that they're not fully ripe. I wasn't about to taste one.shoreacreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16284698314697628805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447321916012029979.post-77441921370175114592016-09-09T21:10:16.429-05:002016-09-09T21:10:16.429-05:00"Untroublesome" definitely a word.
